I added a new video card and tuner to a PC that I have been using GBPVR on for quite some time. This PC has gotten so bloated over the years that I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows in order to just clear some things up and install just the drivers, codecs and other software I absolutely wanted on there. Well since doing that I'm having a little trouble getting gbpvr working again. I added an HVR-1600 and have been trying to get it convigured at first I was just getting no response within gbpvr to selecting live tv but now I can't even enter the config without it locknig up. Every time I hit ok it just kind of hangs there. I didn't really see anything but I've attached the log files I'm sure some of you more knowledgable people will see something.

I can see several errors list in your most recent log file, but these just seem to be repeated attempts to view the Settings screen. Its a known bug in this release that you cant get into Settings screen. You cant workaround this problem by creating a "skin" subdirectory in the gbpvr directory.

If live tv isnt working, then reproduce this problem and post the logs agin.

I tried adding another skin directory but it's still hanging up every time I enter the configuration utility. It will open it fine and I can get around and make changes but as soon as I hit ok it just hangs up.

Does it eventually come back if you wait?

To be honest, I dont know. I'm not aware of any problems with people not being able to 'ok' out of the config app. Maybe try reinstalling.

actually it just looks like it is in fact just taking a long time. Even though it says it's not responding. I just let it go and it did eventually (about 3 or 4 minutes later) go. Still kind of odd.

I have live tv working, atleast the SD channels coming in over the svideo, but I'm still a little confused as to how to set up the digital channels on the HVR-1600. Wouldin't it need different guide data for those digital stations. Do I just add the digital stations as a second capture device?

Ok so I have another question about this. I checked the card in wintv first and it was picking up the digital stations. Then I added the digital stations to GBPVR and it mapped them fine and found all the same ones that wintv found however when I attempt to play them in GBPVR I get audio but no video. Any ideas?
