I have a PCH and I don't have any sync isssues at all. I use the TS Mux as well. The original firmware made ff and timesearch unbearable, but with the most recent official firmware I have no problems with that either. I am recording OTA with a HDHomeRun dumping to my gbpvr server. I watch my recordings on the PCH (either through gbpvr or swisscenter) and use both timesearch and ff (mostly timesearch). This is a tough one to troubleshoot. I'm sure you tried watching from a PC and didn't have a problem. Did you try changing your firmware on the PCH?

Quick specs:
OTA tuner = HDHomeRun
Server = Windows 2003 Server EE SP2 - Athlon XP 3200+ CPU - 512 MB RAM - 1.2 TB storage
PCH = connected to Yamaha RX-V863 via HDMI (audio set to straight and video set to passthrough)

I'm already on the latest official firmware. Maybe OTA presents less of an issue than QAM...

Could you upload your GBPVRRecordservice* logs to check. It is possible that you aren't use TS Mon which is part of TS Mux that provides better ts stream.

TS4NP repaired the file.

I'll get you a copy of the original (with timing messed up) as soon as I pick up some blank DVD's

Actually if TS4NP fixes it then I don't need a copy, the problem is likely just that this is how the Sigma hardware demux works and a software filter is going to be needed to fix it at either the client or server. It is more surprising that the Cyberlink mux still has a problem with the file, it truly must be a bad mpeg-ts.

If you want to try TS-Doctor though it produces a log file indicating the errors that were fixed that would be interesting to see.

I'll run it through TS-Doctor later tonight.

As far as Cyberlink, I've tried both converting funky TS mpegs & configuring GBPVR to use Cyberlink to generate mpegs directly.

Things are much better in 1.2.13 than they were in 1.2.9

Odd - I downloaded TSDoctor.exe from http://www.cypheros.de/dvb_e.html, but it won't run.

I click on it & it gives me quick hourglass & then nothing - doesn't even show up in the taskmanager...

That's why I complained about people who use exe packers you don't know what they are doing. He says he doesn't require any dll's etc, but my bet is that you need something related to Visual Studio.
