Fast Forward Issues

Quite often when using the fast forward 2x, 4x, 8x or the right arrow a number of times giving 30 second increments the system doesnt do what it should.

eg current time 8:00 you press the right arrow 4 times which should fast forward 1:30 to 9:30 but the system only fast forwards a few seconds.

Likewise if you press fassword and press play once at 9:30 the system plays from say 8:20

Hope that makes sense.

I'm guessing you'll get exactly the same behaviour if you play this file on the Popcorn Hour from its own UI instead of GB-PVR. ie, not something we have any control over.

OK I will give that a try, any ideas why though?

The 2x-8x ff's are really just fast play so with hd files you might only get 2x speed because Syabas haven't released firmware that uses frames for this, like the did for dvd's. Having the info in screen can make this worse too.

I have pretty dood luck with the arrows unless of course during live tv or watching in progress recordings where these don't work at all (you get an exclamation mark)
