Unpredictable EPG navigation speed

Has anyone got any idea why sometimes there is a noticeable delay between programs when scrolling left and right in the EPG using the cursor keys? Sometimes it is acceptably speedy, but at others it's like wading through treacle.

Its not something I've come across.

Are you finding it takes multiple key presses to move left/right between shows? or only one key press, but slow?

i just had a thought, and disabled 'system sounds.' no problem now.

i tell you what though... your two minute response time is pretty spectacular!
