HDPVR acting up again

After a couple of RMA's, it seemed to be working flawlessly. Then this weekend it quit on me. Now I can only get it to record a couple of shows before it quits.

I'm about fed up - I hope I can still get a refund from Hauppauge...

Just in case this is on GBPVR's end (highly doubt it), I've posted the logs:

The latest was a recording of House Hunters which started at 10PM. I came in and noticed the light was out on the unit & the file was not growing any more, so I cancelled and restarted. It recorded for a couple of seconds and then the light went out again...

This is using the version 1.0B driver supplied by Hauppauge after my RMA.

Anyone else having HDPVR issues anymore?

I haven't had any problems with mine. It's an original version (C1) and I'm using the original drivers with it...the ones on the CD. Just lucky, I guess...

Well, I have it back up again. I restored my system to what it was just after I first installed the HD-PVR back in July (thanks Drive Image XML) and it hasn't missed a recording yet. (fingers crossed).

However, I did have two HD-PVR recordings over the weekend with the timing messed up. I've been recording at a constant bit rate - as that seemed to make skipping w/ the popcorn hour smoother, however, I got a couple recordings where once I reached the halfway point, the time jumps back to zero & starts over - if I try skipping after that point in the recording, it jumps back to the first half of the show.

I guess that wasn't the solution. HD-PVR is quitting during recordings again.

RMA #3 here I come...
