MVP noob help channel changing issue + emulation mode?

Although my problem has only been with DVB-S I seem to have had a result.

His logs and problems were with the Hauppauge dongle though.

No need to retract, my problem was originally with the bundled dongle (is this just a standard Haupp dongle?).
When I moved to MVPMC things have improved, but I now get very similar problems to yourself, so I will try the "--no-seek-sync " once I get my head around setting up a config. I am also going to try a different DVB-T card to see if that has any influence. btw, on the bundled dongle cyberlink mux was more reliable than ATI, but still gave issues. I will post back findings on the other capture card. I would still like to know if there is anything else I can look into, signal quality etc....
