Ok it appears my blackbird card isn't DOING anything. GB-PVR thinks it's recording a show, right now, as I type this, however there is NO mpg file being created! Any ideas, please! I need this resolved NOW!

Update: I just picked something at random from the TV guide and had it start recording, for about 1 minute. Recorded fine, made an mpg file like it's supposed to. Seems to be some sort of issue with season records, I gather. Any ideas?

what makes your problem more important than anyone elses?

Well, nobody has any ideas as to how to fix it, so lets get it solved! Other people's problems have been getting fixed, now how about mine?

Reproduce the problem, then send the logs and a concise set of steps to reproduce the problem to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

Ok, exactly which logs do you need and for which problem? I basically have 2 issues (both related to trying to get the dual tuners setup properly), one: season record doesn't do anything (doesn't create any mpg file at all) or two: when I try to watch live TV I get "can't connect to recording service". I've been trying all kinds of configurations to get this stupid thing to work and nothing's fixed it yet.
If it matters, here's the physical order of the hardware: AGP Slot (AGP card is installed) PCI slot #1, closest to AGP slot: Tuner card #1, Blackbird card PCI slot #2, next one down from the AGP slot, Tuner card #2, PVR350 card There are no more PCI slots.

Always send all the logs. Best to tackle the problems one at a time, as it makes things clearer.
Try the live tv 'cant connect to recording service' first, as this should be relatively easy to work out. |
