GBPVR on TV Output using ATI x1650 video card

I'm trying to use a main PC in the TV room for GBPVR (using the TV out in the video card). I'd like to use the "use secondary monitor" option in GBPVR so that GBPVR pops up on the TV output, but the only way it seems I can do that is by extending the desktop to the TV as a secondary monitor. I'd like to configure PC/GBPVR so that basically the TV "second monitor" is only enabled for GBPVR and isn't used for other PC functions (ie., the desktop doesn't show up on the TV) and 1 person can use the PC for web surfing (without applications spilling into a TV "second monitor") while the other is using GBPVR on the TV.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Sorry, thats not possible. GB-PVR can only use the second monitor if you enable that monior and allow the desktop to extend on to it.
