I can start out watching analog just fine, but if I watch a digital channel, and then switch to analog, I get a black screen and PVRX2 becomes unresponsive.

Logs attached. If anyone knows how to fix I'm all ears.

Nothing really springs to mind, and there is no obvious sign of errors in your logs, but does changing video/audio decoders change the behaviour?

Yes, I've been experimenting and everything works great w/ the video decoder set to "system default". Problem is, the video is jumpy like it's dropping frames once or twice a second. It does this whether I'm watching live TV or recorded TV.

If the next course of action is to try different decoders, can you recommend some good (free) ones to try? I have had bad luck w/ codec packs in the past and would rather stay away from those...

I dont know. Maybe try http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm. I'm not sure if it works with the HD used there in the US.

MPV worked pretty good. I was able to surf from HD to analog, although the first time I tried it I got stuck (I thought) on a blank screen, but was able to exit to the tv guide after roughly 30-45 seconds. After that I could surf from QAM to analog w/o problems.

The video quality was really good though. There was intermittent chop at variouse times but it wasn't toooo bad...

I did manage to crash it though when i tried to pause HD TV. Attached the log, maybe you could check it out?

Does the chop sound like a hardware issue? Do i need more CPU or graphics power? (running a 5000+ and 780g)
