download gbpvrwake.exe from the wiki and copy to gbpvr folder.
Add shortcut to gbpvrwake.exe to your startup folder so the program runs when you start the pc.

this program runs quietly in the background. When it detects that the pc has come out of standby, it runs wake.cmd.

download pskill.exe form here and copy into gbpvr folder or ideally windows\system32
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin...96683.aspx

create a wake.cmd in the gbpvr folder that looks like this.
pskill pvrx2.exe
pvrx2.exe

I think that should work.
Unfortunately this fails to kill the process, all it does is set the focus to the "VMR9 renderer not found" message box. Sad

Do you mean that you just tried it and it doesn;t work or you know from experience that this won't work?

I can;t reproduce the "VMR9 renderer not found" message box at will so I can't offer to test this.

If you can repro the problem, does pskill [pid] work if you grab the pid from task manager?

I know my autoit script can definately kill of pvrx2 when it is displaying the message box.

well I just figured out how to reproduce the "VMR renderer not supported" message by disabling directdraw in dxdiag.

pskill pvrx2 worked perfectly, killing pvrx2 and removing the diagloue box.

Process pvrx2 killed.

Do you have the same version of pskill?

Yes.

I tried it out, but will have another go. I wonder if running in FSE mode makes a difference (as that is what I'm using)?

I started from scratch and tried this again. Now working perfectly Smile
