Support forATI and Hauppauge Card...

You shouldnt need to do any the Hauppauge card, its already supported. Just select the correct card type (I think its a PVR500?).

What ATI card is this? It doesnt look like it has the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

It's an ATI TV Wonder 550 PCI. Neither card will stream via gbpvr. The hauppauge card works via wintv6, but not gbpvr.

Try using the Hauppauge card in GB-PVR, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I've removed the ATI card, and I think I have the config set correctly for the hauppauge card. When I run deccheck, it tells me that my intervideo noncss video decoder for hauppauge (ver. 4.5.28.238) is not compatible with mce and there is a problem (yellow !) with the mp10 compatibility. How do I get the zip of logs to you?

How do I get the zip of logs to you?

Just zip the logs subdirectory, then when you hit the 'go advanced' button below to reply you can use the paperclip icon to add an attachment.

You seem to have enabled client mode (on capture source tab in config app), but I'm sure you didnt mean to do that. Disable that setting, then try using the device, then zip and attach the logs again.

I disabled client mode, checked, can see movies, but nothing happens when I click on live tv and the settings svreen only comes up for one second then reverts to the main menu.here's the logs...

There is a bug with the Settings screen in the current release. It easily fixed though - just create an empty 'skin' subdirectory in the gbpvr directory and it'll start working.

On live tv:

2008-09-26 19:37:35.453 VERBOSE [1] GBPVR.Backend.Common.GbpvrException: No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information.

You havnt setup the EPG in your capture source so GB-PVR has no idea what channels you have. Once you've got that setup, also enable live preview mode in the config app.
