If I enable Multidec with the MDAPIFilter2.2 I get the following popup. When this happens, I don't see anything in the logs. Or at least, I'm not sure which log the error might appear in. This happens whenever the MD is enabled. In pvrx2, config and recording service.

You''ve registered the mdapifilter.ax? Maybe try de-register and register again.

Also verify the existence of ffdesca.dll in the gbpvr directory - it should be dated some time in 2004.

And with that version, check if you're getting a mdapifilter.log in the MDPlugins directory.

Figures I'd finally figure it out after posting. The problem was that I unzipped the MDAPISetup zip file into

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\MDPlugins
instead of
C:\Program Files\Devnz\MDAPISetup

I thought it was a typo in the readme. :o Getting MDAPIFilter, MDAPISetup and MDPlugin all mixed up. Having all those extra DLLs in the MDPlugin folder was causing issues.

Thanks for the help.

No worries, I just went through the same problems. Have only just started using mdapi again after a 6 month break. Was having stability issues. But the new MDAPIFilter and some other changes over here seemed to have helped.
