I'm having odd problems with the TV Guide on occasions.
Sometimes there will be a couple of channels with no data; "No Show Details", at other times there is no data for any of the channels.
If I manually update the EPG via config or from the system/update EPG page then all is fine.
I'm using two Haupagge Nova-T 500 cards and epg data comes via the DVB EPG Broadcast.
Maybe the problem is with automatic updating of the TV Guide. Have I missed something in the setup of updates?
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Graham
I've just suffered this problem, I discovered that my EPG source had two channels in the EPG source with the same source id (Channel ID) in the XML.
I know it's hassle but have you tried RadioTimes for your source (with Alan Birtles XMLTV GUI) which downloads and create a valid EPG file for GBPVR. At least you can 'verify' the data before it's loaded using TVViewer. that way you will know if it's data or GBPVR issue (but I suspect the data).
I did try DVB EPG data but found it to 'flakey' for me. hence the Radio times data.

After several late nights, I figured out the issue. I had original set up my capture sources to use DVB EPG. When I switched to Schedule Direct (even after purging the epg database), the channel mappings weren't completed.
So, I uninstalled GBPVR, deleted all related files and directories, and did a reinstall. For the capture sources, I used Schedule Direct right of the bat. No problems now - well, except for having to go through and manually match up channels :-)
Yep, that'll do it. If you change the EPG source, you should delete and recreate the capture source (or entire database), otherwise you'll almost certainly find the names with the new EPG source are not 100% identical. This means you'll find the original channels still there, not populated with listings.
