Good luck. I'm not sure if our DVB-S is like DVB-T where channels don't get found in a scan if they're not 24hour broadcasters. I noted BBC3 was in the scan and it's off during the day ISTR, so it might be the case that they broadcast a blank screen.

Martin

I have sorted the file, but believe I am missing 2 maybe 3 pieces of info.

In this sample from GBPVR I need the field that holds the 56's and 23's and the NID, I'm also not sure how important the L field is holding NAR or eng etc.

Steve

The 56 and 23 appear to be the Forward error correction values FEC and seem to track with the symbol rate as well.

56 in gbpvr cache seems to equate to FEC=3 in the ini file and 23 equates to FEC=1

The NID doesn't seem to make any difference. I shoved 00 in and it displayed fine when I tried it on a couple of channels that were set to 32. Od dthe ITV HD is the odd one out!!??

I've not had chance to tweak the L: field - I would have thought the audio PID would have been enough??

Have just tried the file, and it seems to work, might need a few tweaks, but let me know how you all get on.

I've not had chance to fire it up yet. Can't try it on my spare machine - it's got everything except an s350. So far, I've only setup the s350 in config for the HD channels, as the others are available via STB and/or freeview - and I'm not as yet going to leave the s350 as a tuner to rely on 100% - I get beat up enough when things go missing

To be honest the S350 has been reliable, just waiting for my Hauppauge S2 cards, I know they dont offer much over the S350 at this point, but at £40 each all in seems silly not to.
