So while installing the plugin, I get this error message when I get to the scanning of my music I get the attached Unhandled exception. Not sure what I am doing wrong or missing, but any help would be appreciated.

nevermind, my folders structure was not accepted by MusicScanner, in my config Music directory I only had the location as the drive not the actual folder location. So my old layout was E:\ now my new layout is E:\Music this is when it started working.

Thanks for feedback. Of cause E:\ should work, I take a look at it the next time I do some fixes for the MusicScanner.exe

- Fix for adding file to database IF not in database and calling the EditTags popup. When file added, read tags and update the database for selected file. Before this fix the plugin opted out to main menu. The problem occured when accessing file details (manually or by playing file) for files not added to database with MusicScanner.exe
- Fix for saving tags for file to database, there was not sqlInject check for filename, but now there is. That's why some songs could not be updated before, files with, for an example, ' in the filename.
- Fix for tagSave. Now saves the entered Artist to both Performers and AlbumArtists tags.
- Fix for tagRead. If FirstAlbumArtist is empty then read AlbumArtists instead and use the first one, if still is empty, read and the Performers tag and use the first one. (This is for MusicScanner 'cause the plugin doesn't read any tags but it's the same shared modTaglib file.)

Use the latest package on the Wiki and replace the Music.dll with this one.

- When Left MENU button is activated a Keys.Right will be sent to make sure that LIST item has focus.

I am not sure I really like this behavior... Some buttons, sort view and mode, toggle between the different views. What happens now is that I have to go back to the left menu to go to the next view. Granted, maybe it's something you do all that often after you have found your favorite views, but really annoying anyhow.

I was thinking of using this but all my songs are in 1 directory. I do not have 1 folder per album. Will it still work or do I need to create folders?

I think it will work fine as the scanner application reads all the mp3 metadata and loads it into the built in database.

It should work with all files in one folder, I don't see why it shouldn't work. I guess you don't have so much coverart right now 'cause the most software uses folder.jpg or similar per folder. BUT if enabling the AAAWrapper.exe execution inside the Music.XML in the downloadable package you will get more and more coverart the more you play your music. Of cause this requiers well-tagged, or at least, descent tagged music files (search and download coverart is using the tags %artist% - %album% info)

Nice. I was hoping that was the case.

My music is well tagged, only a couple albums out of 3000+ tracks aren't fully tagged.

I have no album art right now, that was one of the reasons I wanted to use this plugin.

I will give it a try in the next couple weeks, a bit busy right now.

EDIT: Do I have to do anything to enable "the AAAWrapper.exe execution inside the Music.XML in the downloadable package"? or will it do its thing automatically?

- Minor bugfixes and improvements.

No...download of Albm Art is automatic as default. But you can disable it if you want...in Music.xml
AlbumArt download is improved in the version I just uploaded.
