Hello,
I've been playing with MCE on my new PC using an HVR4000.
I had to run a patch to allow MCE to tune into satellite channels. However when I now try to configure GBPVR to scan for Astra 2A, 2B, 2D (Free sat channels I believe) it flies through 95 channels and finds nothing.

Any ideas why I cant tune into anything?
Thanks
Alan

Do a scan, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll see if anything stands out.

In this case its failed to start the device. Are you sure its not in use elsewhere in the system?

Must be MCE hogging the device then.
I guess its still running in the background then. I've made sure its not recording anything while I did the scan. The client was not running, but I assume it has some process that is always running in the background.
I guess I need to work out how to disable MCE...

Thanks for you help Sub!

Stop all Windows Media Center services that are running.
