All I have tested so far is the Analog side of the tuner. I haven't tackled the QAM side yet.

I recommend that, where possible, you disable the analog channels before they get into the xml file for the digital guide and vice-a-versa. I'm not familiar enough with all the various xmltv format guide sources - Schedules Direct, etc., to know haw easy this is, but IIRC, a disabled channel still has guide data in the database. At least with the SearchWiz plugin (and possibly with the built-in search) you find programs that are on the disabled channels when you search. It's always best to keep your XML guide data including only channels you can actually tune.

Well, like I stated before, I use iXMLTV and I don't know if I can load two guides with it. Anyway, the only guides for my area on SD are the analog and digital (which includes the analog listings) - there is no digital only guide data that I can find (Comcast Houston)

I'm not familiar with iXMLTV, but if you can't separate HD/SD then you can't. I have the same two options for my area - SD or SD combined with HD, but I use MCEPG2XMLTV. It generates the xmltv format file from guide data for Windows Media Center Edition. I can configure it not to include any channels I specify when I extract data from MCE. I download SD plus HD once into MCE, then extract the EPG data twice, once for SD, excluding HD and once for HD excluding SD. I played around with disabling channels after importing into GBPVR, but I kept running into guide data relating to disabled channels.

You know, I just remembered, I can edit the digital listing and remove channels I don't want (i.e. Analog) now I need to figure out how to get I-XMLTV to download 2 different schedules. I am not sure where it keeps the logon info, I don't think it's in the .ini file.
BTW, what's the logon format for retrieving specific lineups from SD?

Well, having nothing but bad luck in the digital side. Added a Scientific Atlanta amp ot the input from Comcast. Finally got one tuner to map, and it finally found the ABC-HD channel at 86.3 - however, I get no video when mapping the digital channels.

Worse, when I try to map the 2nd digital tuner, it locks up hard (config program, not PC), usually when in the 80+ channel range!

ARGH!

I'm trying again after removing a program that I think might be interferring, and I also changed my playback codecs to the Intervideo ones (I know they're bad, but I want to to with something safe to troubleshoot)

Will report back.

Well, not much better luck - didn't lock up, but STILL no video and this time it DIDN'T find 86.3! I tested playing back .mpg and .avi files, and that worked.

Double ARGH!

Logs attached. I'm now removing all my capture devices and starting over.

On the Misc 2 tab, the BDA multiplexer settings - what should it be for TS?

Do you fare any better with the Hauppauge WinTV software? ie, does it find your channels and let you watch them? If it doesnt work there, it probably wont work in GB-PVR either.

Most people in the US with either use TS Mux or DVR-MS. You need TS Mux if you want to have access to the multi-record feature.
