Yes, WinTV work perfectly! Now, the current problem I have is I start a channel scan, and I go a way to do something, and come back and config.exe has exited! I'll try to watch it tomorrow.
Nothing in event logs. Here's the config logs.

You should probably watch a few scans to see if its exiting while scanning the same channel each time.

Well, tried to do a repair install, and it quits and rolls back at the very end, saying it ended prematurely due to an error (tried several times!) - just removed and reinstalled, kept the same database for now.

Well, that didn't work, removed again, renamed database, and reinstalled - still blew out! I saved the part in the log file where it found channels, running it again to see if it is blowing out on a single channel.

Man, this is stressing me out! Shouldn't be this hard, if it was, everyone would be watching analog TV!

If this doesn't work, I'll remove and delete the folder and start (once!) again anew.

Well, blew out again, first time was scanning the 71 block, this time 107 block! I'm going to try something now to see if it makes a difference.

Nope - no luck - I had changed the driver from the beta pre-release back to the latest official from the Hauppauge website, and it STILL blows out scanning for channels, and it is a different channel block every time!

OK - blow out the hardware, remove and delet all folders/registry entries, reinstall, cross all digits! - for about the 4th time!

You know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Big Grin I feel your pain. I think I've given up on QAM with GBPVR for now. I'm curious what's going to happen in my area in February anyway which may change what I do with my equipment. I may then opt for a HDHomerun which appears to do a better job with QAM than Hauppauge does.
Still, I'm hopeful your luck will change and your hard work will help me out (cuz I'm lazy).

So, you haven't gotten your 2250 QAM working either? I don't know if people are tired of my questions, or if everyone is enjoying watching HD on GBPVR, because forum activity is DEAD! And I have missed over half the Texans game futzing with this! I'm trying again, then down for a drink and football!

I can't get QAM to work with GBPVR but it's working in Vista MC. The only tuner that picks up QAM is my ATI650 and though it picks up oodles of channels, none lock in. I'm thinking of going back to ATSC for a bit but need a better antenna.
I second the drink......as long as it's BEER!

Nah - Jack Black and Coke! Oh,and a lime wedge! And the Texans are winning, for a change! Even though we missed 2 out of 5 FG attempts.
