Hi Sub

Thanks for the new version.

I have a problem that I think is unrelated to the new version. The problem is if I schedule two recording in paralell only the first show gets recorded, for the second show every thing is there except the mpeg file. The recording status shows both shows, the directory is created and it's present in all relevant menues.

Greatfull for any tips

I enclose the complete set of logs.

Last night I had the same problem with my PVR500 but it appears it was the card. I switched it out and all works now. I've not yet spent more time trying to figure out if the card is bad for sure but did uninstall the 'bad' card and then reinstall it with all the drivers.
If you happen to have another system to try it in, that might not be a bad idea but I'd wait until sub looks at the logs first.

I had this problem for some time now and I sort of hoped that it would go away with new drivers and/or new version of GBPVR. I think it is software related but most likely not GBPVR, but some graph problem.

I have only ever seen anything like this when the tuner or driver has died after many standby/hibernate/restart sessions.

I can confirm that, with two 1250 tuners recording, only one gets a show. I have no previous experience with dual tuners, hence nothing to compare with.

I just tested this after a fresh reboot. There are no error messages.

Reproduce the problem, then post the logs and I'll take a look.

I've uploaded "GBPVR dual tuner.rar".
Two 30 minute programs were targeted: a children's PBS cartoon, "Caillou", and "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."

In this case (it doesn't always happen), PVRX2 froze each time a program was selected for recording. Just before the freeze, a background artifact apparently "mixed" with the normal background, consisting of program description text. I killed PVRX2 using the process manager, and restarted it. In each case, the target program was observed to be correctly highlighted when I restarted PVRX2.

Because of the freezes, I rebooted the machine and deleted the logs prior to the scheduled recording time. I realize I may have deleted important information.

Playing "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" resulted in a clean playback of "Caillou", while playing "Caillou" resulted in immediate return to the recordings guide.

In other cases, one of the programs was correctly associated, while playing the other resulted in immediate return to the recording guide. The folders of the missing recordings contain only stub files.

The db3 file was rebuilt from scratch a few days ago when I switched to Schedules Direct.

Hi

I tried some things after my originall post. I have done a complete re installation of XP, GBPVR and tried both Hauppauge boards in a separate machine but I still have the original problem. The problem exist at all times so its not a hibernation/stanby problem.

I have enclosed logs for recording two shows, Reba and Ulla. The tray applications show both shows as recording but the Ulla show directory is empty.

Greatfull for any help on diagnosing this problem

I think the Nova-T and HVR-1300 use the same driver, so one capture source needs to be set as device #1, the other as device #2. It doesnt matter which.
