Upgrade to 1.3.7 failed

Dear All,

I just upgraded to 1.3.7 with no issues.

But, when watching live TV, I get no picture and system hangs after about 5 seconds.

I really have no clue what is happeningand would really appreciate some help, logs are attached.
I have no strange plug-ins, rather trying to run a vanilla system.

DVB-C with proper subscription card.

Watching a previous recording works fine.

Many thanks for any input I can get.

Are you using multi-dec?
What version mdapifilter are you using? the 2.2.? And what plugin, do you get a log for the plugin and does the mdapifilter systray icon get created?

Does it hang or give a Windows error message? I'm getting an error message about psiparser.ax after 4-5 seconds, but sub seems to think it's a problem in the data stream. I'm waiting until he gets back to NZ before sending a sample. Until then, I'm on 1.2.13.

No multidec (not sure what the mdaifilter does) and no error messages.
I have to force pvrx2 to close.

still looks like you've had a windows command trigger (some sort of multi media key) that stopped the live tv.

Perhaps post another couple of logs....

OK, here's the current status, I spent all weekend reinstalling my HTPC, now I've downgraded to GBPVR 0.99.12.
Still having issues, now down to encoded channels. Tried a new Conax cam, no luck.
Both my Cams show up fine in Firedtv supporttool. Not sure where to go from here. Any chance the logs might tell a tale?

GB-PVR doesnt support CAM modules in FireDTV devices - it can only be used with free to air channels, or using softcams (not real cams in your firedtv device).

Many thanks for your reply, I have been running GB-PVR for almost a year now with this configuration, everything worked like a charm until the upgrade.

Are you quite sure about the no cam support?

Yes, I'm sure.

There was one version a couple of years ago that supported it, but none since then. Maybe you were on that old version.
