This has been bugging the hell out of me. If I set my graphics card to its highest resolution, 1024x768 or up it from 16bit to 32bit color, GB-PVR flips out. Either I get screwed up menus or I get a black screen for TV, with sound. Im using MPV Decoder, but changing decoders has not worked. What could be causing this?

Thanks!

It probably means your video card isnt up to the job, and is failing to create the large textures used to hold the menus etc. What video card do you have?

NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go 32mb... aka, an old POS.

Not sure if it really matters, but WinTV works with the higher settings.

WinTV doesnt use fullscreen direct3d for the user interface, so its not going to have the same problem.

You could try setting <InternalRenderResolution>720x480</InternalRenderResolution> in config.xml, then try running it on your desktop set to 1024x768. It may or may not help though, and your only definite fix might be a new video card.

No luck Sub. I think that mangled the menus a bit more. It's a laptop so Im kinda stuck with the graphics card for now, bummer.
