live tv 'glitchy' until I pause and then play

It seems that I may just be having decoder issues. After some more time playing with it, I can get smooth video, but then the audio cuts out.

Are there recommended Video/Audio Decoders? I've looked some on the forums and this is what i have installed:
ffdshow (libmpeg)
MPV Converter
Descaler

AC3Filter

The video seems to work the best when it uses MPV Converter but then the audio doesn't work. Any of the other video decoders make for intermittent video and audio.
