No, I havnt connected to his machine to look. Still waiting on connection details. The offer is still there for any HVR-2250 users that can get channels in WinTV but all or most are missing in GB-PVR.

I'm confused now if config.exe QAM digital channel mapping is working with the 2250. I say I got QAM working, but in truth I did all my digital channel mapping with the version prior to 1.3.7.

I just tried doing a rescan and I couldn't seam to find any of my existing mapping channels. And after trying to click on just a few channels config.exe stops responding every time.

Where there any patches I was suppose to apply to version 1.3.7 for digital channel mapping?

Do a scan then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Have you installed Vista TV Pack on this machine?

sub, if I understand you correctly, my problems you've been trying to help me with (QAM) must be due to TVPack. I have TVPack on 2 systems and can't get QAM with GBPVR and my 2250 however, I couldn't do so before I installed TVPack.
I will say that my 1600 has picked up QAM channels but just won't lock them in. Most of the time config crashes but even with more than 70 some channels, I can't find any to tune into.
So, it appears I've been wasting your time.....sorry.

So my problem is a little different. I installed TV Pack after already completing most of the digital channel mapping using the 1.2 version of GBPVR. I then upgraded GBPVR to 1.3.7. Everything works great except I cannot make changes to my digital channel mapping.

This is using the 2250 with no attempt to hack the registry to get it to work with TV Pack.

I even found that TV Pack installation fixed some problem on my computer with respect to the dvr-ms demux and playback not working. I think installing some of the final patches KB951685 and/or KB950754 fixed some issues on my Vista machine.

Paul, I updated the QAM.ini Manager because it was scanning the wrong frequencies on lower channels. You may want to try it again.
