Sorry, there is no support for the ATSC EPG. Most broadcasters transmit less than 6 hours worth of listings, which is next to useless for a PVR, so I decided it wasnt worth my time implementing support for it in GB-PVR. You need to use one of the other EPG sources like Schedules Direct or mc2xml etc.

Thanks for the reply. You saved me much more searching.
I will make better use of the forum in the future and save even more time. I usually record to two DVD ram recorders and use other hardware for the spillover, so daily EPG is all I have needed, along with my Zap2it and TitanTV accounts. I tried Schedules Direct trial with Mythtv . It is good but I let it lapse because of not much use. Your interface for manual recording is very nice but I would like to see how EPG info looks and works. I will look into mc2xml.

I am trying but the link to download mc2xml (http://mc2xml.110mb.com/) is invalid.
I tried zap2xml. I have had an account at Zap2it for years and use it daily. I had scraped info using it once before when I was trying MediaPortal. Zap2xml is giving me (404 Invalid path was requested at script/zap2xml.pl line 205.) error and I have not been able to figure that out.

Thank you for all help. I have zap2xml and mc2xml working now.
Neither site had data for all the channels I use. I use mc2xml with the -t parameter to get OTA atsc EPG data, and an file.chl file to specify which channels I want. Two TiTan channels do not have EPG data so I use zap2xml to get those. I then merge the xmls. |
