if it keeps missing a recording at that time
remove all recording from the schedule at that time then re-add them (1 hour either side so a 3 hour time slot accross all stations)
long shot but you never know it may be a old scheduled recording stealing the tuner

I tried deleting them and adding them back last week but the problem happened again this week. Its not a big deal because it is at least recording the correct program just on the wrong channel.

House records on 655250 P:1 (KDFW-SD) from 8:00 to 9:01

Fringe is suppose to record on 691250 P:1 (KDFW-HD) from 9:01 to 10:00

It appears to me that GBPVR is incorrectly indicating it is possible for a multirecord and not requesting a channel change so it is recording Fringe on 655250 P:1 (KDFW-SD).

Regardless of this small problem I really like multirecord and I think it was a great addition. Keep up the great work sub.

I captured teh same issue tonight, and it results in tuner lock-up and lost future recordings. But, unlike on earlier version, there is actually something in the log on this one.

In today's log:

We were to record 3 shows, one on Fox at 7-8pm (physical channel 115), one on CBS at 8-9pm (physical channel 124), and another on CBS from 9-10, again on 124. The CBS is SD, the Fox is HD, all digital cable. All have 2 minutes pre and post pad.

The 7:00 show recorded fine (except squirrley timeline). However, the 8 and 9 shows think they recorded OK, but show 0 length TS files (recording in TS format). At 10:08, the recording service was still locked onto the 9-10 show, could not tune anything. Stopped, then restarted recording seervice and it cleared.

The log, interestingly, indicates that at 7:58pm the second show was about to start as multi-record, but it is on a different physical channel, and I only have one digital tuner. (I do have an analog tuner as well, as part ofthe Aver 780M, but no channels set up on it right now). Note also that at 8:02 the log indicates taht the 7:00 show is overdue to stop, so it does something to stop it. But, the tuning never gets right for the 8 and 9 shows on CBS, and so the TS files have 0 length.

Possibly related, teh other night I could not tune ANY channels in live TV after all recording was ended for the night. I looked at recording service status, but it was white (sleeping). Tonight it was still green, recording the 9:00 show at 10:08. I do not know if the other night was after dual recordings, and might have been a similar issue. Or, teh recording locked, your new program sensed it, stopped the recording, but somehow did not free up the tuner. I'll have to look through my logs see if I can figure out which night that was. Sorry, did not take notes on that one.

Back to tonight, note the native log shows nothing from 6:58 beginning of recording until I stopped the recording service.

Hope these logs can shed some light. I really do not want to revert back to old version, really like the skin on 1.3.7.

Dug out the last lock-up in the logs. Had to reboot machine to clear the tuner, as recording service said it was sleeping. I did not bounce recording service, should have done that.

The RecordingService log shows on 12-08 at 22:02:44 an error, a lease expired, and stopping recording service. Shortly after I tried watching the news on live TV, no luck. All channels showed no signal. I then rebooted at 10:16 to clear things. I'll also went to include the regular logs (PVRX2), but there are none on that date, and in fact the first one since the upgrade to 1.3.7 is on 12/11, and covers 12/10 through 12/11. Of course, we do not watch much live TV with gbpvr.

Hope these give some insights!

Please see patch here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=5

It wont fix it, but it'll help me find the cause.
