No Sound in GBPVR through HDMI

I just built an HTPC using the Asus P5N7A-VM. I finally was able to get the sound to work through HDMI using the Nvidia driver, but I still can't get any sound when using GBPVR. I've explicitly changed the audio renderer to Nvidia HDMI to no avail. Are there any other settings that may help?

you'll probably have to play with decoders as well. Technically HDMI sound is counted as SPDIF. So you may need AC3Filter to send sound to the spdif port.

Yes I recently built a box where I needed to patch the motherboard spdif into the nvidia card (so that audio would go thru the hdmi cable).
I see that the motherboard you've chosen includes onboard video, but it may still be worth checking whether there's something in the bios to enable an equivalent of this patching, or whether you need to set a jumper. I.e maybe you've had some audio via the nvidia driver, but it could be that this is software support and that there is additional hardware/bios support you need to enable.
