Seems gone after 12am, but some channels are 1hr off...I'm actually am starting to think it was a daylight savings glitch, even though it's still a hour away.

I agree; I think it was daylight savings time related.
However, I also recommend that you do not try to force the EPG to reload by emptying it and reloading it. I tried this and now my guide is empty until April 6. My kids are not going to be happy when they find out their shows are not being recorded until Wednesday... Jeff

Oh well, I'll go to bed now and I look forward to all the posts tomorrow morning then...

I did just do a 'Empty EPG' followed by a 'Update EPG' , and certainly seem to bring back a full EPG of data. I cant see any gaps.
I cant be certain the times are correct through, after a long day, trying to manually calculate the timezone differences between NZ and USA account for daylight saving is just doing my head in. Not knowning what times shows normally run at over there doesnt help matters either. Daylight savings passed uneventfully in our part of the world weeks ago, so there definitly isn't a problem for XMLTV. Possibly for zap2it, but I shouldn't think so.

I've emptied & refilled it three times - no dice. I don't have anything until Friday the 8th.

Try deleting the capture source and then re-adding it. That might help.
It's definetly Daylight Savings Time. I did fresh installs of the latest version before and after Daylight savings. I noticed that the times were off and for some channels, they still are now but looking a couple of days ahead, they seem to stabilize and programs start when they should. If all else fails, you could try doing a fresh EPG update from scratch on Monday, when all this DST stuff is good and over.

OK, I'm assuming there is no problem or we would have heard heaps more about it by now.

It still isn't working for me. It seems from the posts of the other people that had problems that we are all in the US.
By the way, I uninstalled .919 and went back to .917 to get the MVP working again. It is working now, but I now notice some thin white streaks on the display in some places, sort of like it is overscanning when drawing buttons and such on the UI. I don't recall if I was using my system default mpeg decoder or if I had custom selected one. Could this be caused by my decoder? Thanks Jeff

Hmm it's weird. My reoccurings all picked up stuff, but that's the only thing on my TVGuide for 5 days. Anyone else?

Jeff can you email your zap2it username and password to me at support@devnz.com and I'll try as you.
I have a zap2it account, for 90210 which the only zipcode I knew , and seems to be updating fine and have all the listings. |
