I should have said not all that I have tried are asx types, at least from what I can see in the file name

I added that to my file and it worked fine.

Are you sure you edited the right xml file, and restarted the app?

yep, just tried again. no log file entry, and lastgraph still shows the kiwi station

The web radio is just reading the file to get its urls etc, it doesnt have any other cached lists etc. Sounds like you're not managing to edit that file correctly.

and the lastgraph attribute for modified date/time shows it wasn't even touched

Is there something I should do besides open the xml in Front Page, edit the text I showed you, save it, close it, start GBPVR ?

Dont worry about the lastgraph file. You cant rely on those. Look at the pvrx2.exe-native.log if you want any diagnostic information about the URL its trying to play. If that file shows your old URL, then you've not managed to edit the file its using.

I've no idea what frontpage does. I just edit it in notepad.exe.

Having problems.
All stations work on WMP, VLC.
Some don't work on WebRadio.
Read whole thread. Do not see a solution...

There is one big problem with the WebRadio plugin.
If the stream URL is invalid the plugin can hang PVRX2, so Ctrl-Alt-Del is the only option to restart.
But all streams the MS MediaPlayer can play, the WebRadio should also play.
Post some URLs to web radio stations, then I can test and see if the streams work for me.
