Just upgraded to 1.3.11. Have multi recording turned on with pre and post padding of 5 minutes. Tonight TV1 Coronation Street 7:25 - 8:35 (inc. of padding). TV3 House 8:25 to 10:25 (inc. Padding). Coronation Street stopped 8:30, House started 8:30. Same tuner card. Don't have access to logs right now, but anyone else experiencing this?
Regards,
Hasso

TV1 and TV3 are on different frequencies so the tuner card couldnt have been tuned to both recording the padding for both.

Yup... but I would have expected TV3 to go to the next tuner card. I've got two Nova T 500's and the other three tuners were idle at the time.

I guess that would be a workaround, but I'd certainly prefer a free card to be used. Logs from last night's recording attached.

And this only seems to happen for scheduled recordings. I can 'record now' and the tuners are all happily selected. This morning I had TV1, TV2 on the first tuner recording between 7-7:30 (record now), and TV3 on the second tuner (record now). I scheduled a TV3 show for 7:30. At 7:30 the TV1 and TV2 shows were stopped on the first tuner card and TV3 stared recording on the first tuner card. Not the behaviour I was expecting. I would be expecting TV3 scheduled recording to go to the second tuner card, or at least the third tuner card to preserve the padding.
Regards,
Hasso

You can ignore those. I'm aware of why they appear in the logs, but the dont cause any problem so I decided to no bother correcting it until 1.4.x.

Yes, it should do. I dont suppose you've got the pvrx2.exe.logs for when those recordings were scheduled? If not, you might need to reproduce it with some new recordings and take a copy of the pvrx2.exe.log used for the scheduling.

Here are the logs for this morning. Set the recording up at about 7:12.
TV1 Dickinson's Real Deal 6:30-7:30 - Tuner 1 (used record now)
TV2 My Gym Partner's... 6:55-7:20 - Tuner 1 (used record now)
TV3 WASTED 7:00-7:30 - Tuner 2 (used record now)
TV3 Money Man 7:30-8:00 (used scheduled recortding)

At 7:30 Money Man kicked off Dickinson's Real Deal on Tuner 1 which should have kept going until 7:35. All shows should have 5 minute padding.
Regards,
Hasso
