I'm guessing the ForceStandard=16 is going to fix it when you're back up and running.

the solution of that installation problem was to install 1.3.07 first - and then upgrade with 1.3.11 ..

the 1.3.07 told me an error (maybe msi-error) 2735

the 1.3.11 installer proceeded all without any error -

my old configuration is still alive ..

I will try your suggestion and report you the result later ..

thank you for your good support

Now - The analog tuner works fine - like the DVB-T tuner .. PVRX2 can switch between the configuration like it was intended .. and ForceStandard is still "0" - I just use another decoder (The hauppauge decoder) or what ever

B U T Smile - the channels of the analog tuner does not matching the channels tuned with WinTV (region germany is configured to the analog tuner (cable))

Yesterday - before I "destroyed" my installation I updated the registry with a stupid frequencies.reg file (I know - the real stupid I was). Before of this action the tuner scanned 107 channels - after this action the tuner scans 125 - but GB-PVR did not found all available frequencies in our cable network

What can I do ?!

Hmm

I dont know. Have a look what registry entries this frequencies.reg created, and try deleting them.

Which source is used by the TunerAssistent to determine the channel-frequencies ? Or are these frequencies mapped by hauppauge-driver (hauppauge-config) to the channels?

Its done by Microsoft behind the scenes in the directshow API. I basically tell it to tune to (for example) 'germany-antenna-14' and it takes care of working out what frequency that is. Microsoft provides some hooks to change those frequencies, which is probably what you've changed with this registry file, but GB-PVR doesnt look at those registry settings directly it just asks windows for 'germany-antenna-14'.

How can I search for "attachments" in this forum?

Is it possible?
