No sound, except TV3, with DVB-T Freeview and HVR4000 in NZ

I installed GBPVR for the first time last night and it was painless. The main problem I have so far is absolutely no sound on DVB-T, except on TV3.

Because this is not a TV3 problem I'm guessing it's an MPEG2 audio decoder problem. :confused:

I've searched and can't see anything that clearly is about my problem in the Wiki or the forums, although I wonder if I have to re-register a decoder to get sound working.

I've tried the range of decoders offered in the Playback tab in config but no joy.

I have the XP Decoder Checkup Utility and it's very interesting but I'm not sure where to go from there.

you need monogram decoder as dvb-t in new zealand uses aac audio
tv3 broadcasts both aac and ac3 hence the reason tv3 works for you

Thanks. Downloaded and registered. Now GBPVR sees no signal and returns an error message in PVRX2 saying so, although PowerCinema is still happily showing a picture. Back to the Wiki for more info.

are you sure power cinema isnt stealing the use of the tuner card only one app can use the card at a time
