TV1 7:00-7:30am Dickinson's Real Deal - recorded Tuner 1
TV3 7:30-8:00am Money Man - recorded Tuner 1
All recordings fine, but post-padding on TV1 and pre-padding on TV3 were ignored. Money Man should have gone to Tuner 2.

when i did the clear out manually i didnt loose the schedules but it did rejig things so multirecord started working all the time. i must check tonight if the padding is being obeyed - but since i only have 2 nova s cards i may not get the same result - however its nice being able to record all 12 freeview channels on the 2 cards - not that there is 12 channels worth recording Big Grin

OK, no harm in trying then, although I'd expect that if this is the problem, then it would have sorted itself by now for those scheduled shows added after the upgrade.

Problem still happens, and I applied the patches as indicated in the survival guide. Happened again last night with Coronation Street (TV1) directly followed by House (TV3). Any other suggestions/solutions?
Regards,
Hasso

That's OK... just thought the patch may have fixed it.

Just did a test, heres the recording setup.

Program 1 TV2 4.00 to 4.30pm followed by Program 2 TV2 4.30 to 5.00pm
Porgram 3 TV3 4.30 to 5.00pm

pre = 2mins and post=6mins
3 tuners available

Starts recording Program 1 on TV2 with tuner 1,then at 4.28pm tuner 2 starts recording Program 2 on TV2 ??? Mutli record is enabled.
Suddenly at 4.30pm the system wants to record program 3 on TV3, with 1 tuner still sleeping...GBPVR decided to stop Tuner 1 ???so no post padding, and starts recording Program 3 on TV3 with tuner 1.

All tuners have the same channels available.

If I start tuner 1 recording TV2 then start recording TV3 the Tuner 2 will record TV3, so it seems to only happen when I setup a delayed recording option.

I noticed on my digital channel mapping that TV3 is near the top whilst TV2/TV1 are at the bottom, does this create some sort of preference?

2009-08-25 19:30:00.067 VERBOSE [5] All multi records stopped. Stopping device.

this happened when trying to record on TVNZ 7-7.30pm (tuner 1, padding -2 and +5)) then 7.30-8pm on TV3 from 7.30-8pm
3 tuners in system, all tuned to same channels, can change tuner order and get same problem.
TV3 always stops all other recording to start its own recording with multi-record. Doesn't happen with just TS Mux and no multi

stopped recording bang TVNZ on 7.30 so no padding, and the program ran over by a few minutes

Why doesn't TV3 recording just take next available tuners?
