HP DVB-T/Analogue TV Tuner

Hi,

Downloaded your software, and was wondering if there is a way of choosing this as for the intial setup 'HP DVB-T/Analogue TV Tuner' . Its built into my HP Dv51009TX laptop, and was hoping to use your software to try and tune in and pick up New Zealands 'Freeview HD'.

When I go into 'TunningAssitant.exe', All i can see is a whole lot of cards, which I assume are PCI-E or PCI cards?

This card will not be usable for analog tv due to the lack of hardware MPEG2 encoder, but it should be usable for DVB-T.

You dont need to use the Tuning Assistant. That only lists analog cards. You need to setup a capture source for you device, then do the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step.

Thats a shame, I dont think its going to work, i went into GB-PVR Configuration, and then into Capture Source, but the tuner isnt on the list even for that. Thanks anyway!

If its not one of the currently listed devices, run filtercheck.exe in gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log that gets created.

i ran the exe file but the file wasnt created.. im running vista home premium if it matters.

If you're on vista it might not have permission to create the file. You might have run the utility as administrator.

i picked up channels!!! whats the best guide for setting up this software though? I have picture, but no sound.
