I am using 1.3.11 and I use SD and UltraXMLTV for my listings.

It's hard to explain what is going on, but here is a summary.

My wife records Days of our Lives. UltraXMLTV converts the SD XML listings and changes the title to append an '*' if the showing is new. So it titles a new showing to "Days of our Lives *".

The TV Guide in GBPVR and the gbpvr.db3 has no record of this (it just has "Days of our Lives"). But the listing "Days of our Lives *" is in the XML file that is imported into GBPVR.

I have gotten it to import, but I have to manually Empty the EPG on both my capture sources and update the EPG. I have the Completely reload EPG checked.

Something seems to be messed up, possibly with my database. I can post my database and the XML it is importing. I can also get logs if those are helpful.

Weird thing is that it only seems to do this with daily updated shows, like soaps. Because my weekly recorded shows have the * after the title, and the database has them in there.

Any ideas?

Are you sure that you are telling GBPVR to use the converted xml file and not the xml file that is originally downloaded?
I use ultraxmltv and have had no problems so just a guess...

Yes, definitely telling it to use the converted xml file, both capture sources too.

I don't think it's a UltraXMLTV problem, it's just the xml file I'm importing and the database doesn't match. Could my database be corrupted and I just need to start a new one?

The gbpvr.db3 zipped is 9.5MB. The XML file zipped is 2.9MB.

You can get them here, and here.

One example of a missing program is:
Code:
<programme start="20090218190000 +0000" stop="20090218200000 +0000" channel="I11565.labs.zap2it.com">
    <title lang="en">Days of our Lives *</title>
    <sub-title lang="en">(11020)</sub-title>
    <desc lang="en">(2009-02-18) Chloe realizes she loves Daniel and Lucas; Lucas succumbs to temptation and has a drink; Philip is furious when Victor lets Brady close a deal with a client; Kate tells Victor that she wants to rekindle her relationship with Daniel.

(60 min)
Actors: Kristian Alfonso, Blake Berris, Roscoe Born, Tamara Braun, Darin Brooks. </desc>
    <category>Soap</category>
    <category>Series</category>
    <category>TV-14</category>
    <category>stereo</category>
    <category>teletext</category>
    <episode-num system="dd_progid">EP00001189.2362</episode-num>
  </programme>

It is not in gbpvr.db3, at least not that I could find.

If you bump the thread tomorrow, then I'll download them and take a look. I've run out of time today.

mine acted same way when i had changed path on some files and didn't let the db cleanup..
if so, just set it to true then restart rec service and see if any change..

When I use your database, and update the EPG, I see these programs pulled in correctly.

Also, are viewing in the built in TV Guide, or the EWA, or something else? I do notice that some of these days of overlap with the previous show though, which is caused by broken data being supplied to GB-PVR. For example, a 2hr 'Today' show starting 1hr before the episodes of Days. I can see both in the built in TV Guide, but depending how you're viewing it, you might not be so lucky.

I use TV Listings, but I will look using the default TV guide and EWA tonight to see what is listed there.

If it ends up being the data, I'll have to submit a bug to SD...

Thanks for the help!
