I'm pretty certain it wasn't mux related, it was just that I first saw it happen when trying out different muxes and just assumed it was that. When it happened again after reverting to dvr-ms I realised that probably wasn't the case.

With the aid of my System event log and my archived gbpvr logs, I can confirm the last case was just after a recording had started on BBC4 and things were set for dvr-ms. The rec. service logs show the recording started at 19:23:05 (and there the logs end) and the System log shows the 7304 error at 19:23:17. That was on Saturday before I applied the patch.

In fact, looking at the timing of the System log entries, almost all are shortly after ~2 minutes before a normal programme schedule time (i.e., most programmes start on the hour or half hour or 5 minutes past, 25 minutes past etc.). I use 2 mins prepadding and have System log entries for HH:58, HH:28, HH:03, HH:23.

I see your System log entry is for 21:45:59 and you use 5 mins prepadding - was there anything set to record at 21:50 (EPG scheduled time)?

Cheers,
Brian

I don't archive my GBPVR logs, so I couldn't be sure, but that was just at the end of the BBC Four 'Folk America' season and EWA autorecord had been very busy, so it's possible.

If the patch doesn't fix it, that's something i'll keep my eye on...

The RecordingService stopped at 03:35:07 - no MVP's active at the time, but I did get this in the system error logs...

Sorry, I'm not really sure. There isnt really much to go on, and I dont really have any ideas for a cause.

How often is it happening?

This happened to me tonight. My SO is pissed off at me something fierce right now. I'll start a new thread.

I haven't had a crash for 2 days now. However, I swiched on an MVP tonight at 18:01, selected a program from the TV guide and got No Tuners available dialog, but there were no recordings displayed, so I switched it off again.

Just before 19:00 I switched it back on again, selected a program from the TV guide and it froze. There is a wee bit more in the logs at the time of the first problem - I don't know if it's related to the second (when the recordingservice stops). Nothing in event logs for either problem.

I had Adplus running, so I've included the log from that in case it helps...
