TS playback problems inside GBPVR- Logs attached

In my quest to make my client setup work, I have spent the last few hours doing more testing. I have concluded that the best setup for me is to use Streaming option with TS mux for HD streaming and server playback. I ran into a couple of issues that do not seem related to my setup and need help with.

This is all happening on the client

1. When I record ts files and try to play them through video library, I only get sound but no video. They playback fine in WMP and VLC.

2. When I try to do LiveTV on a digital HD channel, I get a blank screen and then it goes back to the previous menu. This happens too if I try to playback a recording in progress. In both cases I can playback the growing file (recording or timeshifted) outside with WMP or VLC flawlessly.

I have tried just about every combination of renders and decoders and rule them out as the issue.

None of this happens with the Analog mpg files, they work fine.

I have attached the logs for both issues.

Are you sure? I can playback the file while recording without an issue with outside players, something I cannot do with an mpg file. Unless this is particular GBPVR limitation.

thats because that is file sharing not streaming
just like if you set gbpvr to file share then play the recording whiles happening

weird i know but i went through the same thing lucky for me i only have one channel that isnt digital so 98% of my recordings are ts so i use file sharing
just means that one channel cant be watched live from the bedroom (not that i really watch anything live with multi record here i have more than enough recorded stuff to watch)

but if anyone can get streaming to work id like to know aswell

But why ts files only produce sound but no video when played back inside GBPVR. May be Sub can take a look at the logs and let us know that there is no hope in ts streaming livetv or pending recordings.

when you say not video you mean all the time or when streaming ?

You can currently only play .ts files from a client using the File Sharing mode. The streaming mode was only designed for .mpg files. Support for recording .ts files was added to the application much later, and the client/server support hasnt been updated to handle this newer file type.
