I'd planned to release a new version tonight with reworked code - I don't know what's causing your error, but that section of code has already been deleted. Just wait a bit longer.

I can't do a full release tonight but I've attached an updated dll. It may take some back and forth with sub to properly complete threaded images.

New version 1.571 uploaded; improved image handling and pop-up fade fix.

I'm going to consider image handling complete unless someone can point out inconsistent behavior, memory leaks, etc.

I have only one issue.
I use Hybrid view and when I am on the first page, icon view, and press Sort all changes fine except when I go from Shuffle to Alphanumeric. In this case nothing happens.
If I close and reopen GBPVR, VL starts with Alphanumeric sort order.
In the list view on the next page, sort works as expected.

Images is shown nicely and the switch between them goes smoothly (I use a Tweaked Community skin at the moment).

@7ore: I think that behavior is explained by the fact that folders aren't shuffled and shuffle isn't remembered between runs (sorting defaults to alphanumeric in that case). Would you want to change this behavior?

The only reason I pressed Sort in the first place, was by accident.
I don't think there is any need for anything other than Alphanumeric for folders. It looks like shuffle has effect on the folders, as they where resorted, but it could be creationtime as well. But the sortorder did not revert back to Alphanumeric, when VL said it was. I had to restart GBPVR for it to be sorted alphanumeric.

Found another isue.
I have a few dvds that I play through VL. This works but I can't get the extra info from the xml-file for them.
It should work the same way as for the other files except that in this case, the xml file and image is placed in the folder (with the Video_ts folder) named as the main folder. So the folder "Movie" contains a video_ts folder, a Movie.xml an a Movie.jpg.

I tried the original Video Library with slick skin just to make sure I did it as it was supposed to.

@7ore: I was unable to replicate the sort problem. If someone else brings it up or it becomes a bigger problem for you, I'll take another look at it.

Can someone fix the included version of slick? There's something not quite right about it and I'm wondering if it may not just be better to revert it completely. Also, folder icons should probably be enabled in CS for the details view (when/how are details supposed to be shown anyway...?). Thanks.

Still no info for my dvds... And the really odd thing is that the folder.jpg thumbnail is not shown in the first folder anymore (no connection with the dvd problem other than it occurred with the new version...).


As for the sort problem, it is ok to do nothing about it.

As for the slick skin, the simplest solution would be to revert to the original Video Library skin and add the VL specifics.
But if you have changed the layout a lot compared to that, it may not be the best solution. But if it is, I added that type here.

@7ore: I uploaded a new release using the same version number. You should meet with more success this time. About the bundled version of slick - I certainly prefer the new metadata layout but I'm not sure how others feel about the buttons / cover location / list rejiggering.
