InfectiouSoul Wrote:Hi,

I have exactly the same issue, however my situation is probably a bit different.

GBPVR was picking up my OTA channels from the HDHomeRun without a problem on my previous laptop. That laptop died last month and Dell kindly sent me a brand spanking new one which is higher spec'ed in every department.

I reinstalled GB-PVR and the HDHomeRun software (which includes new firmware I think) on my new laptop and now it does not find any channels ("No Channels Found. Please check your signal and configuration settings"). I have not touched anything else besides the new laptop with the new software.

As per the OP, the HDHomeRun software picks up the channels without a problem and I can view them flawlessly in VLC. I also tried with Vista MCE and again it works just fine. Only GB-PVR seems to have issues with the channel (strength), even though it didn't have issues with it on my old laptop. I tried with different applications in the HDHomeRun settings (TotalMedia, GB-PVR and ATSC/Remap), all fail.

HDHomeRun Setup version 20090215
HDHomeRun Firmware version 20090215
GB-PVR v1.3.11

Attached my log files
Post your logs and I'll take a look.

What do you have the application set to in the HDHomeRun configuration?

Try running ReRegisterFilters.bat then try again.

Tried it but this gives an error:

The command prompt shows:

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRParser.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u PsiParser.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRFlowStatus.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u asyncflt.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRWriter.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u WSTSRTAnalog.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u WSTSRTDigital.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u DVBSubtitles.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u netasyncflt.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRTSMux.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u scflt.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRTSReader.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 /s /u GBPVRTSMon.ax

C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR>regsvr32 GBPVRParser.ax

And stops there.

Then a seperate window opens with the following error:

"The module "GBPVRParser.ax" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005."

Help!

If you run Vista you need to right click and run this with Admin Rights.

Yeah, I read that on some other thread, tried that but didn't work either.

However, I switched UAC off and then it worked (god I hate vista with a passion), rescanned and it now picks up my channels (halfway through the scan, cross fingers, knock on wood etc).

Thanks for the help, hopefully I get further now.
