Hi everyone,

My computer crashed over the weekend, and I'm in the process of reinstalling it. I downloaded the HDHomerun app from the Silicondust website, installed it, configured it, and got it setup in GBPVR just fine. Live TV works great. But all my recordings stay at zero size when they are recording from the HDHomerun, and the HDHR gui shows a zero network rate. No errors that I can see otherwise. I can even watch TV with media player just fine. For whatever reason, the feed just isn't being sent to the file on the hard drive.

I've attached logfiles. The problem recordings should be within the last 1.5 hours or so of the logfiles. Thanks for any ideas.

Does running ReRegisterFilters.bat help?

I'm running 20090219beta1 and have been getting 0 files. Thought I did something wrong. I've been having the same problems with my HDHR. Running all the patches from the survival guide and re-register filters and no changes.
Logs enclosed.
sub, just so you know, this is not the logs from the system I've been having trouble with my 2250 but another system. It's been working fine (W7) with the HDHR. But, that system also gives me 0 file sizes using the HDHR. Live TV is fine and the HDHR records with Media Center so that's not the problem.
Thanks

Paul

Running ReRegisterFilters.bat fixed mine. Thanks sub!

Paul, maybe you should try upgrading to the latest firmware. Maybe there's a bug in the beta? After reregistering the filters mine seems to be working just fine at first glance.

I've tried 3 different versions of firmware and it makes no difference. Neither does the ReRegisterFilters. I've also tried dvr-ms instead of TS and no joy. Of course, this in Windows 7 so these things happen. But, it was working about a week ago.
Status shows it's recording the whole time like nothing is wrong. Even turned off the antivirus.

sub, I see in my logs the following:
Quote:2009-03-11 19:59:25.357 INFO About to attempt QAM tuning via USB HDTV-GT Tuner

Is the HDHR considered 'USB'? I don't understand the reference to the USB HDTV-GT Tuner. Maybe that's what the HDHR is listed as?????
What filter am I missing?

Its a long story, but this section of log is fine. The HDTV-GT filter is for another manufactures device that shares the same QAM tuning mode. Its normal to get these messages with an HDHomeRun for QAM.

I set 9 recordings overnight and all worked. What I did was to remove all the entries for GBPVR and HDHR in the firewall and reboot then add them back in. They had some duplicate entries I wonder if it was something that happened after I installed the new W7 build and before I turned off UAC. Only the first time I use GBPVR do I get a Firewall message and I allow GBPVR. I can't be sure but either way, what I did seemed to have worked. Back to back and multi records all were successful.
Thanks for the info sub.
