TV Guide Question

Is there any way to have the guide open up to certain channels? I find myself more more just watching and recording HD channels and they are in the 700's. The guide always opens with my SD channels which start at 2. Can I adjust something so that the guide will open with channel 702 on top?

Can't you renumber them in config -> channels tab? It works with UK DVBT - I make bbc chanels 11, 12, 13, 14 and ITV 21,22, 23 etc. so they group together. You could make your HD channels 1, 2, 3 and it would put them at the top.

I use the ability to renumber to keep track of various sources. 1-99 is analog, etc. He might prefer to keep the channel numbers for HD unchanged, and modify the SD channels he doesn't watch so that they are above the 700 range - then they will be last and the HD channels first.

I have some 4 and 5 digit channels. They seem to work fine, but you can't direct tune with the remote for more than 3 digits (unless this has changed recently).

There is a 3rd party plugin TV Listings, that allows you to create multiple guides, you could try this and make an HD listing.
