problem with channel changing

hi there,

i installed gb-pvr on win7 64-bit.

everything works fine, but i have only one problem - when i'm watching tv and changing the channels - everyhting works fine, but when i'm setting up a recording, when the recording starts i can see the irblaster blinks 3 times, but it's not affecting the sattelite reciever.

what can be the problem? it's not something in the irblaster configuration, because when i'm changing the channels while watching tv it works.

and one more question - hauupauge tweaker won't work in win7. is there any other way to change brightness, contrast, etc...?

Go to services (control panel, administrative tools), find the GB-PVR recording service, log-on tab, and check 'allow service to interact with desktop'

tried, didn't help.

as i wrote, the irblaster is blinking in the start of the recording, but does not affect the reciever (unlike when watching tv. when i'm watching tv without recording it's working fine)

tried installing the 32-bit version of windows 7 and i have the exact same problem.

it is so weird. i read here before that the haupblast application only send orders to the hauppauge irblaster application, but when i'm trying to change the channels with the blaster apllication, it worls fine.

maybe i should try a different parameter? the default is {channel}

when i'm trying to run haupblast via CMD it works fine.

am i the only one with win7 and gbpvr in here?

when i'm trying to install an old version of the irblaster, it's not working at all under gbpvr - it blinks, but no response from the reciever (and i do get a response at the configuration program)

when i'm installing the newest version fro hauppauge's web-site it does work from gb-pvr while watching tv, but still has the same problem while schedualing a record.

any idea?

If you're seeing the irblaster blinking, then it sounds like its trying to do its thing.

Post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and I'll see if there is any errors listed in the logs. I dont expect to see any though, and I suspect GB-PVR is running HaupBlast.exe without any externally visible problems.

Yeah, no sign of any errors there. It looks like its successfully run HaupBlast.exe.
