No probs, they seem to have changed the underlying HTML without actually making any real difference to the visible page Rolleyes

I have tried installing the Iplayer per the instructions on the wiki.

The install over writes the skin2 and plugins directory. When I restart config the program crashes.

Have I misunderstood the installation instructions ???

Have you configured the plugin in the GBPVR Config App under plugins?

If you have and it is still failing please attach your PVRX2 logs and i'll take a look.

Is it possible to configure this plugin so that you can just watch stuff streamed from iPlayer without having the transcode step. I'm not really interested in storing programmes long term.

The plugin is not setup for watching the download directly, the problem is that the file is actually an HTTP stream and needs to be fully downloaded before playback in the current implementation.

It would be possible to watch while downloading with a lot of work, because you would need to create some sort of direct show container and redirect the http stream, as well as adding seek capability.

Unfortunatly, I don't think the development effort would be worthwhile.

Certainly looks interesting, I will take a look for version 3, I will hopefully release version 2 soon with a few new features. Wink

I guess the music download will be put straight in to an MP3 directory? I haven't really thought about it.

I guess there is no way to keep the meta info such as the images and title text in gbpvr? :confused:

To my eyes, it all looks more or less the same the standard iplayer only with music orientated tv shows.

Unfortunatly, the underlying protocol is key, if the Iphone iplayer supports the audio streams in non protected format then it is possible to listen (and record). However, I think the windows browser embedded player uses macromedia encrypted streams Sad
