New version 1.573 uploaded; threaded db access and added a subtitle indicator.
7ore, would it be possible for you to reproduce some of Mixman's reported bugs and post logs within the "Video Library Clone" thread in the developer forum? Thanks.
I have found a new bug in Videos Library.
When I open a specific folder, I get an unhandled exception.
The only clue in the exception where that there was an illegal character on row 6, position 34. Not a clue in wich file...
I've noticed it for a while, but today I went bug-hunting...
And I found that in one of the xml-files I had used Swedish.
Normally I just use the default text from thetvdb, but in this case I wrote it myself, in Swedish.
So the illegal character was a "Ã¥". I tried to replace it with å but that crashed as well... But the numeric code worked; & #229 ; (the spaces added so the forum won't translate it...)
But I think this have worked in an earlier version. Maybe there have been a change from Unicode to something else? (I think unicode is the one that works best...)
I can make sure that the plugin doesn't crash anymore but the issue here is likely a bad xml file. I believe that you need to either save the xml file using a different encoding in your text editor or change the xml encoding attribute. I'm probably not going to figure out how to accept bad files.

Thanks, it is OK that the fix is that it won't crasch (thats the main nuisance).
These xml-files are few and without exception edited by hand, so I'll make sure that I save it correctly.
After I converted the xml-file to UTF-8 it is shown correctly (I'll have to remember to save them with correct encoding...).
I followed the directions in the readme file, but I'm not sure if it installed correctly. I haven't seen any screenshots, so I don't know what it is supposed to look like. I have attached a screen capture of what GB-PVR looks like when I go into videos library. Is that what it is supposed to look like? Or am I missing something?
To me, that looks like a combination of the blue and slick skin.
What skin is it supposed to be?
Did you just unpack the zip or have you copied some files manually?
Yes that's the way it should be. I used a modified slick skin which adds the menu back in since there appeared to be room for it without destroying the look & feel of the original. That's obviously a matter of taste though. @jarodl - why do you ask? It's functionally pretty similar to the default plugin and you'd want xml/thumbnails for both to make proper use of slick.
