What I meant was, is as the ls gave me a list of DVDs (in my case 1) an indication of success? If the question is after I run these manually, can I play a DVD, the answer is YES! (Thank you.) What I didn't realise is although you start it from within GBPVR, it shells out (and takes quite a while to start?) to the coloured popcornhour screen and plays it from there, with all the NMT controls (and lack of) rather than any GBPVR ones (I must admit I never played a DVD from GBPVR on the PC or MVP so this may be normal). Can I assume I can just insert these lines into the script then?
Yes, just change your script to match. The next time you restart they will take affect. What you are seeing aren't really the typical PCH menus though, that is a normal DVD menu you'd see when running from a DVD. It figure it takes 10-20 seconds to start the DVD, maybe a a few seconds longer than opening a file normally with the PCH.
Hmm. Well I put those exact lines in the script (no \\ at end of first line either) , and while I get no error message, it doesn't play the DVD?? Just a black screen. Waited a while. The first time I tried it I get GBPVR and a horrible periodic flickering every 3 seconds or so. Rebooted PCH and that went away.
