I have the 45 button (I think) remote that comes w/ the non-Media Center edition HVR-1600. For the most part, it works great. One thing that is kinda buggin me though is that the system seems to ignore key presses from the remote occasionally, and/or it responds very slowly. It's the kind of delay that makes you try again but push the button harder - even though that really doesn't do anything.
The keyboard works great, and I can scroll around the menus at light speed. But I can't scroll through anything quickly or make reliable key presses with the remote 99% of the time.
During the brief period of time that I had media portal installed, I experienced the exact opposite problem with that software: the remote was so sensitive that it was hard to scroll up or down just one line (in media portal). This leads me to believe that it is a software issue causing my remote to work poorly in GBPVR
Anyone know how to adjust the responsiveness of my Haupauge remote?
