AAC+ streams on shoutcast/Net Radio

Anyone know what I'd need to install on my GB-PVR box to play the AAC+ streams from Shoutcast using Net Radio?

You could install a PCH client, that is the only way I know how to do it.

Unfortunately I dont think it'll play them on the PC at this stage. Its on my list to revisit in the future.

As mvallevand mentioned, there is options with the Popcorn Hour.

No problem, 95% percent of the streams I want are still in MP3 format. Just figured I'd ask.

If it would be simple for you to do, could you make the current version not display any of the AAC+ streams? As I write this, 5 of the top 25 streams are AAC+, and a few of the genre-specific lists have 1 or 2. It's a minor thing, but slightly off-putting to be poking around at streams to see what's on and have some not play.

Unfortunately the app has no idea which streams are AAC+ streams until it starts playing them, so no way to not list them.

ah, i see. I thought maybe the stream type was included in the info you get when you pull in the top-25 lists from shoutcast, as it does appear on the website. no big deal though, as I said it's a minor thing.
