I started a film and the mediaPC got totally locked.
I had to restart the pc the hard way, but after the restart I tried to start GB-pvr again but got unhandled exception.

So I opened config.xml - totaly ruined!
I attach it in a scares hope that it is possible to fix...
I doubt it is possible, so the secondary plan is to use an old file, I have one 6 months old, for 1.3.7, Can I use that one and just update the version number or how do I save the situation in the best way?

(When I'm done I will create an automated backup on the gbpvr-folder)

I don't think the config.xml can be cured.
I guess you are/were running the latest 1.3.11 version of gbpvr?
I would backup my GBPVR dir first.
Then I would install 1.3.7 from scratch.
Then copy the 1.3.7 backed up config.xml to the gbpvr-dir.
Then upgrade to 1.3.11.
Copy the gbpvr.db3 from the backup into the gbpvr-dir.
For the last operation you have to stop the recording service I guess.
This should get you back in business more or less.

Good luck, Hans

I copied everything to another folder, uninstalled and reinstalled gbpvr and the plugins I wanted to keep. So now I'm back on track, with another lesson learned.

Thanks for the help.
