I've just checked http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/BBCIPlayer and it downloaded it into winzip for me just now. Halfway down the page there is the "download and installing" section with an attach of the zip file.

ok, new problem (BUG?)... first item downloaded fine, (very nice), however it will then download any other programs as long as they are not "episode x" of the same series, should you want to do that you get this error
"Error in Iplayer Downloader, while downloading "program name" error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" The "program name" above has the real program name in, i just replaced it instead of typing it all out. This only seems to happen with the same program in the series, so i tried "episode 2", and got this error as i just downloaded Episode 1, however it will download other programs fine.
Same problem. I think it is for programmes where there is only HD content.
If you search for HD, and try and download you get the same problem. Just a guess, check through BBC Iplayer desktop, but what I found was that it only shows an option to download the HD version. mark_lt Wrote:Same problem. Ok, ive tested this on there website, both 1 and 2 are normal "episodes", should you want to check this, its "Mock the week", i did a search for "mock" and they both come up, both download on the website player, once i downloaded 1, then 2 wont download in GBPVR plugin. Even after i have deleted 1 from the recordings still cant get 2, this is a bug.

After having been away for a while, I happen to have tried to grab the same episodes of the same programme in the same sequence and with the same results (which is what brought me here today).

This is a caused by a change in the iplayer website, there are 2 distinct issues, one is that the website automatically uses categories for searches so if you search tv for music, you actually get music and tv results, the other is the HD download upgrade to the website which is causing the bug above. These have both been fixed in version 3. I have nearly completed the installer for version 3 of the plugin and as such i think i will try to get the new version out before trying to upgrade the old, if it is taking a while then i might update the version 2 branch with the website fix.
