I have a .ts file recorded by GBPVR which skips when played back in GBPVR but plays perfectly in Windows Media Player and VLC. However I'd like to play the file back in GBPVR.

I've downloaded the GBPVRTSReader.ax mentioned in the survival guide but it didn't help.

The problem first occurs just after 4 minutes into the recording.

BTW I've tried using CutChunk.exe to reduce the file but there's no way to specify an initial offset so I'm still left with a 90MB .ts file.

You can use ProjectX (among other things) to cut small chunks out of TS files. Select the part you want to be saved by setting cut points and select "1:1 binary copy" in the process window.

The link you gave appears to be source code.

Do you know where can I download a windows executable?

They don't distribute executables, but it's java. It is really easy to compile it yourself, you just need a Java-SDK or JDK (free from Sun) and adapt build.bat to those paths - or you can download it here.

You start the program by double-clicking ProjectX.jar - this needs java to be installed, but the runtime environment is enough and you most probably already have that installed, if not, look here.

OK. I have downloaded Java 1.6.0_15 SDK and have build ProjectX. However I've no idea how to use it. I've blundered around for 20 minutes but I'm none the wiser. The help pages (http://www.doom9.org/DigiTV/projectx-fullguide.htm) don't match the UI I have.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

What do yo mean by "skips"? Have you tried playing with the skip forward, pause, skip backward to see if this fix the problem?

I was watching the program and suddenly it would skip forward 10 seconds (in this instance), sometimes much more. I wound it back and it would skip this piece of video every time. I could only see what I was missing using VLC or Media Player.

No. Freeview signal in the UK using a Hauppauge DTV PCI card.

Are your symptoms as described in post #8 in this thread ...

I'm not sure if this found its way onto Sub's todo list.
