i havent played it in gbpvr (long storey why i dont have it loaded)
vlc player it plays (shows the video is there) it plays in power dvd (shows it works with the right decoders installed that can be used in gbpvr) the video is a bit jumpy/pixellation to me that normally means your signal is a bit below par but the reason you get no poicture is your decoders in gbpvr you need to figure out whats been used and change them

OK. But tell me. Why should TV Cental's recordings need anything different from everything else I use in gbpvr. All other channels record and play OK. Can you suggest a good codec pack? bearing in mind I am using XP Pro SP3

A short(very) TV1 upload for you, if you can be bothered stustunz.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F61WER6R I suspect verything you say is true as I just tried the TV Central clip in WMP and got video and no sound. Missing codec is prob the problem. Now the question is which one, where do I get it and how do I get gbpvr to use it? Got to go now, will pick this up again on Tuesday night cheers Duncan

Sunken Wrote:OK sub, I hope that I have done this right. The link for the file at megaupload is http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UJP54WF7I just downloaded this file and tried playing it. The file played in GB-PVR with both audio and video here, but did suffer from corruption in a few spots, including right at the beginning of the file. If I skipped forward a minute it played pretty smoothly. Its worth noting that TVCentral is on the third mux, so different frequencies to TV1/2/6/7 and TV3/C4, so may have worse reception than these other channels. I'm not really sure why you getting no video, but it may really to the video decoder locking up with this corruption, or something similar.
